The Liberation That Wasn't

Figure 1 and Figure 3 show Lisa. Figure 2 and Figure 4 show Mike. Photorealistic epic steampunk comedy theatrical poster. 35mm anamorphic blockbuster cinematography. A 1940s rural French village on a warm afternoon. A brass Victorian time machine parked beside a quiet café with striped awning. Lisa in a glamorous fitted 1940s burgundy blouse, high-waisted trousers, boots, victory-roll black hair, amused. Mike in a period field jacket, glasses, leather satchel, confused. Instead of a major historic liberation event, villagers are calmly playing cards at café tables. Bicycles leaning against walls, a bakery with fresh bread, rolling countryside beyond. Title: THE LIBERATION THAT WASN'T in steampunk typography. Subtitle: THE WORLD'S WORST TIME TRAVELERS.
